FAQ
1. How’s your center better than a Home Daycare?
Our center can accommodate up to 72 children. While our capacity may be larger compared to Home Daycares, we keep our class sizes small. We also have a faculty of educators as opposed to just one Day Care operator. Also, in a Home Daycare, only the operator undergoes background check, but not their relatives and guests who may be present in the house.
2. What are your rates?
Our rates vary by age, number of enrolled siblings, potty trained or not, and full-time versus part-time. Please stop by for a tour, and we’ll be happy to provide you with a customized rate schedule that fits your needs.
3. Do you offer part-time care?
Yes. We offer flexible schedules to meet the needs of today’s busy parents. In case you miss a day, our flexible scheduling encourages make-up in the same week without any extra cost.
4. Do I need an appointment to tour your facility?
We prefer to conduct tours by appointment. Please click here to schedule a tour.
5. How do you approach potty training?
We encourage potty training by incorporating it into our curriculum. We suggest that children try it when they show curiosity about friends who have already learned. Our classrooms are equipped with low toilets so that children can use them by themselves. We accept accidents as part of the learning process and gladly help children change into clean clothes. Children will be taken to the potty several times per day. They will be taught the proper way to pull pants up and down, wipe, flush and wash hands. Once you feel that your child is ready to move from diapers to underwear, we ask that you start this process by allowing them to practice wearing underwear over the weekend. The last step in the transition is to have a conference with your child’s teacher to discuss the progress being made at home and school and set a date for your child to start wearing underwear fulltime.
